Francisco E. Hernandez

Francisco E. Hernandez, DDS, is a second-generation dentist who has been serving patients in the Miami area for more than 30 years. He moved to Miami from Cuba as a teenager and attended Miami High School before pursuing his passion for dentistry just like his father before him. After becoming a doctoral student at the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic, he passed the National Dental Board Examinations in the U.S. and opened his own private practice in Miami in 1989. Continuing education helps Dr. Hernandez stay up to date on the latest innovations in the field of dentistry, and he is also an active member of several local and national dental associations.

Karina P. Hernandez

DMD

Karina P. Hernandez, DMD, joined her father Francisco’s practice in 2017 after receiving her doctorate in Dental Medicine from Case Western Reserve University in Ohio. As a third-generation dentist, Dr. Hernandez has held a lifelong passion for the field, first as a receptionist at her father’s practice and now as a fellow doctor. She was class president and a member of the Pre-Dental Society at Florida International University, where she graduated in 2012. While at FIU, she was actively involved with the program that allowed pre-dental students to gain experience while shadowing dentists. Today, Dr. Hernandez and her father are proud to still participate in this worthwhile program.

Cesar J. Hernandez

DDS

Cesar Hernandez, DDS, joined the family practice with his father and sister in 2021. After graduating at the top of his class from the UNPHU in the Dominican Republic, Dr. Hernandez continued his studies by completing a two-year residency at St. Vincent Charity Hospital in Ohio where he was awarded the position of chief resident. Through the Angels for Humanity organization, he donates his time helping impoverished children in Haiti and Miami by providing free dental services, including cleanings, fillings and extractions. Dr. Hernandez believes in a personalized approach to dentistry and providing an excellent experience that results in a healthy, beautiful smile. When he’s not practicing dentistry, he enjoys playing golf, watching his favorite sports teams and spending time with his family.
